Jeff Lenhart Builder was formed in 1995 and incorporated in 2008. I am a licensed general contractor, BC-19401 & BC-29719. We have extensive experience in the retail segment of construction here in Hawaii. We need to be flexible in this business and do outer island work as well. Along with retail, we have done many, many financial institutions mostly credit unions including some banks. I would list these here but for legal reasons I am unable, although I do show one which is nameless on my home page. I will gladly supply this list to whoever requests it. References will be handled in the same format.
My company is a little bit different in our approach to projects, we sub out only those trades absolutely necessary and perform all others in-house. I don’t have warranty and call back issues. Quality, timing, scheduling all suffer with so many tradesmen and different contractors on the project. Safety is compromised in many instances and this becomes a major problem. My crew is very versatile and is able to do many trades in an accomplished fashion.
I have 37 years experience in the trades and carry ICC (formerly ICBO) certifications as a Building Inspector and Plans Examiner.
If you are a general contractor and happen to be looking for a sub, we specialize in metal framing, drywall and acoustical applications. Homeowners interested in steel framing should contact us, that is if you are tired of feeding the termites. Wood treating of lumber is not an effective solution to the destruction.
